CREIGHTON MODEL

Learning the Creighton Model

Learning the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System enables you to understand:

how to properly observe and record observations,

why it is sufficient to observe only cervical mucus,

which observations require a visit to a gynecologist,

how to anticipate early or delayed ovulation,

how to manage premenstrual syndrome (PMS),

which hygiene products support fertility,

whether you are fertile or infertile on a given day,

the physiology of women and men,

the impact of diet and cosmetics on fertility.

Learning the Creighton Model – What Will You Gain?

confidence in using the method every day, including during breastfeeding, the perimenopausal years, or in cases of continuous discharge,

knowledge about your reproductive health status,

a cycle chart that is clear and useful for a NaProTECHNOLOGY-trained physician, forming the basis for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of therapeutic progress,

a conscious spouse/fiancé who will be able to support you,

referrals to experienced specialists (such as a dietitian, urogynecological physiotherapist, or psychologist).

The Creighton Model course begins with an introductory session (approximately 1.5 hours) and continues with individual follow-up meetings (1 hour each). Participation in the introductory session does not obligate you to continue the course. Those who decide to proceed with learning the system will be able to purchase the necessary educational materials and begin regular observations and charting the following day.

Schedule of Individual Follow-up Meetings

For couples trying to conceive, the first 2–3 months are dedicated to learning cycle observation according to Creighton Model standards (subsequent meetings with the instructor take place alongside medical treatment provided by a physician).

After completing the course, follow-up meetings with the instructor are recommended once or twice a year. Regular contact provides:

the opportunity to periodically review the accuracy of charting, observations, and instructions — ideally before your scheduled visit with a gynecologist trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY,

ongoing support and motivation to continue charting,

information about what to expect during breastfeeding, the return of fertility, and the transition into perimenopause, as well as guidance on how to manage these stages.
