NAPROTECHNOLOGY®
Stories of Couples Who Conceived
Below we present real stories of couples who, thanks to NaProTECHNOLOGY, conceived a child and welcomed their baby’s birth.
Julita and Łukasz – A Long and Difficult Journey Worth Taking…
Our story is probably similar to that of every couple struggling with the same challenge — waiting for a child. We waited for this wonderful moment for 10 years!!! During that time, we experienced a great deal of sadness, disappointment, and doubt.
At the beginning, we visited doctors, which seemed normal since there were no medical contraindications to becoming pregnant. Unfortunately, months and then years passed, and there was still no pregnancy. We decided to undergo in vitro fertilization — six attempts, with pregnancy achieved only once. Sadly, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks. The disappointment, pain, and anger were overwhelming. However, we did not give up.
As a woman, I received great support from my husband, who continued to believe and encourage me, as well as from prayer (Pompeian Novena). I know that without this support, I would have given up long ago. After several years of treatment and consultations, we changed doctors — looking back, I realize that the previous time had been lost.
I began reading about NaProTECHNOLOGY® and its effectiveness. We scheduled a consultation, and so began another stage of our journey. This phase also lasted some time, but it proved to be more effective. The physician expanded the diagnostic process, identified several irregularities, and implemented treatment.
We were able to conceive and were overjoyed, but the happiness did not last long — another miscarriage at 6 weeks. For us, it was truly too much. After coming to terms with the situation, we decided to continue trying. The doctor suggested that the miscarriages might have an immunological cause — and that turned out to be exactly the case.
This led to additional treatments involving lymphocyte immunization therapy (blood was taken from my husband, a vaccine was prepared, and after several hours I received it). This stage, which I am describing briefly — although it also took time — included extensive diagnostic testing to determine the cause and assess eligibility for possible immunization treatment. It was also during the COVID-19 pandemic, which made everything more difficult.
These immunizations felt like our last chance. At that point, I was already very skeptical and did not fully believe it would work. However, after the final vaccination, I became pregnant immediately, under the care of my treating physician and immunologist (with ongoing injections). The pregnancy progressed without complications, although I was very anxious throughout. The birth was also without complications, delivered naturally.
And on December 30, 2021, we finally became PARENTS!!!
Now I know it was worth believing and waiting, because our son is wonderful and compensates for every earlier pain and sorrow. If reading our story gives even a little hope that waiting is worthwhile and that it may yet succeed, we will be truly happy. No one who has not experienced this can fully understand the emotions involved — in truth, you are alone with it and must somehow cope.
Among our friends, there are also couples facing similar challenges, and we have heard that we are an example that it finally can work!!!Warm regards,
Julita and Łukasz, and our wonderful son MILANEK!!!!
Monika and Marek
Our journey to becoming parents began in 2007, when we got married and decided that, a year later, we would consciously begin trying to have a child. We planned it that way because we wanted to have some time for ourselves. When that happy moment finally came, we were “ready” and very excited. I heard our baby’s heartbeat, but at the next appointment… there was no heartbeat. We began the first difficult journey of confirming the loss of our baby, followed by hospitalization and a procedure. We tried three more times, and each time we went through the same experience. But we were no longer the same people…
We tried to find help, going to different clinics and seeing different doctors. The last one I remember was a large infertility clinic in Warsaw, a grand place with marble everywhere, focused mainly on IVF—which we had decided not to pursue. They were unable to help us. The problem was not becoming pregnant, but staying pregnant. Frightened, confused, and ashamed, we closed ourselves off from trying again and even from one another. This was a time when recurrent pregnancy loss was not yet widely recognized, and there was certainly very little information about it in the public sphere. We threw ourselves into our careers, and that is how we spent four years of our married life—years during which our marriage almost fell apart. And then God entered into all of this. He saved our marriage and opened a path toward healing—not only from our four losses, as it turned out, but from all the burdens that had accumulated throughout our lives.
He caused the light of hope to shine again: perhaps no one could help us, but He could. We wanted to open ourselves to each other and to parenthood again, but the fear was immense. I am writing about how it really happened—why we found the Creighton Model. We wanted to be close without artificial contraception or any protective measures, but we were afraid of another loss because we still did not know what was wrong… In order to live this way, we needed to learn the natural rhythm of fertility and understand much more than simply that ovulation might occur around day 14 of the cycle. We wanted to build our relationship without risking another loss while we were still searching for answers.
We searched online and came across a Creighton Model course at Evangelium Vitae in Wrocław. The course was just about to begin. We enrolled, were assigned an instructor, and were wide-eyed when we learned about the female cycle, the relationships between its different phases, and the wealth of information revealed directly by my female body.
At the same time, I was trying to find a gynecologist under whose care I could start over. I decided to take a leap of faith. One day, I knelt down to pray and asked God to show me the right doctor. Then I got up, went to my computer, and typed: “gynecologist + believer + Wrocław.” The second result showed a medical practice and the name of a female physician. I registered immediately.
A week later, I was sitting in her office asking for help in preparing for pregnancy. I did not want to talk about my past—I wanted to start over. But she kept asking questions and eventually asked me to bring all my medical records and come back for another appointment. I was a little angry because I wanted to leave the past behind. At the time, I did not yet realize that this entire history would become valuable information for establishing the correct diagnosis.
After three months of working with the Creighton Model, our instructor told us that we had collected enough information and were ready to see the best NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician in the city. I did not even know what the word meant. Then he gave me the name of the gynecologist who was already treating me! That was when I understood that God Himself was guiding us toward a solution and toward becoming parents.
I began a year-and-a-half journey of charting my cycles using the Creighton Model and having those charts analyzed by my NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician. I was now having diagnostic tests performed at the appropriate times in my cycle, which ultimately made it possible to identify the causes of my problem and establish appropriate treatment. We were amazed at how little intervention was actually needed to help our baby survive: just two days of medication and two medications throughout the entire pregnancy. The pregnancy progressed without complications, and the delivery was uncomplicated. We welcomed our first son, Jeremiah, in November 2016, less than nine years after our wedding.
The knowledge of my cycle and how my body functions that I gained through the Creighton Model, together with an understanding of what was not working in the process and which part needed support, prepared us to welcome our second child without fear. With courage and faith, I was able to give birth at home, naturally and without assistance, to a healthy, beautiful boy whom we named Samuel.
There was a time when I had almost come to terms with the possibility of never having children. Today, I have two wonderful sons because I found the right people and the right places, guided, I believe, by the Holy Spirit.
Paulina and Hubert
We have been married for 12 years. For eight years, we tried to have a child. Unfortunately, without success. We sought help at a private fertility clinic, but they were unable to help us. Every new period felt like another needle being driven into our hearts. Another month of trying, and nothing. We did not want to pursue IVF, even if it was going to be our last resort. We lived with the conviction that we would keep trying and, if God willed it, He would bless us with a child. Blind and deaf to God, we lived according to this firmly held belief of our own. God was speaking. We simply were not aware that He was speaking to us. More and more information about NaProTECHNOLOGY® began reaching us. Despite this, we still believed that, if it was meant to happen, a baby would eventually come.
Apparently, God “ran out of patience” and decided to make His message more direct. During confession, I (Hubert) admitted that I felt jealous whenever I saw couples with children, and that I was overwhelmed by sadness and resentment toward God. I thought that perhaps we did not deserve to have children. The priest asked for my mobile phone number, sent me a text message, and then deleted my number. The message said:

“Now it’s our move,” we thought. We needed to respond somehow. We started reading extensively about NaProTECHNOLOGY®. At that time, there was only one Creighton Model instructor in our province—the Creighton Model being an important part of the NaProTECHNOLOGY® approach. We waited a month for her, only to discover that, unfortunately, she could no longer teach us because she herself had become pregnant after previously being unable to conceive and did not want to risk losing the pregnancy. It sounded like quite an advertisement for the method! So we continued searching and found an instructor in a neighboring province. We were treated very seriously and with tremendous care and attention. Everything was explained to us during an introductory presentation, and that is how our journey toward having a child began.
We knew that NOW it HAD to work. Since we lived in another province, most of our meetings with the instructor took place online. After about three months, when we were able to present the doctor with charts documenting three menstrual cycles, we went to see a NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician. Both of us underwent a thorough evaluation. The doctor was highly professional and, most importantly, incredibly kind. We could feel that we were not merely patients to him, but people first. It turned out that many different factors can influence difficulties conceiving. In Paulina’s case, the issues identified included hyperthyroidism and an intolerance to cow’s milk. Our NaProTECHNOLOGY® journey began in July 2018. Then, on Sunday, April 28, 2019—the Feast of Divine Mercy—a miracle happened. Our long-awaited little Piotr was conceived.
Piotr is a wonderful child. He brings our marriage and our love even closer together. He loves cuddling and explaining the world to us as he sees it. We listen to him for hours, with love in our hearts. He is our sweet little know-it-all.
After waiting eight years for Piotr, we never imagined that there might be another chapter to our story. Fortunately, God had a different plan. And so, to our great surprise, Piotr became a big brother to little Adaś just one year and one month later. Adaś loves making us laugh. He is the complete opposite of the well-organized and composed Piotr. He is a crazy little rascal with endless ideas for jokes and mischief. Together, they complement each other wonderfully and love each other dearly.
And so God worked a miracle in our lives. Eight years of trying… and all it took was acknowledging before God that, without Him, we could not do it on our own. All it took was saying: “Jesus, You take care of it.”
If it feels as though your world has fallen apart… If you long to hear the little cry of a baby in your home… If your mind tells you that all is lost and there is no hope left… Give NaProTECHNOLOGY® a chance. What do we regret? That we did not seek help sooner. Years sooner.
Adrianna and Arkadiusz – NaProTECHNOLOGY® : How My Husband Never Lost Hope
Our story began in 2013, when we got married and immediately began dreaming of growing our family. After a year of unsuccessful attempts, still full of hope, we went to a gynecologist at the clinic we were registered with. Another year passed, marked by uncertainty. The appointments brought no answers or results and, little by little, began to erode our hopes of conceiving naturally. For me in particular, they planted a deep sense of doubt. No one was able to tell us what the problem was. It was then that my husband found information online about an introductory session for learning the Creighton Model.
We had heard about NaProTECHNOLOGY® even before we got married, but it had never occurred to us that we would one day use it. Our decision was not based on matters of faith or worldview. We were looking for a method that would be effective, but above all, logical. We booked the earliest available introductory session. We met a FertilityCare Practitioner who filled us with an enormous amount of hope. Every meeting was marked by positive energy, commitment, empathy, and the practitioner’s exceptional professionalism. Thanks to their knowledge and experience, we were guided efficiently through the process of learning the Creighton Model and were also referred to a wonderful NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician. When we left the doctor’s office, we had a whole list of recommended tests, lifestyle and supplementation recommendations for both of us, and the confidence that the Creighton Model was an effective tool on our journey to parenthood.
The charts we kept provided our physician with invaluable information about the processes taking place in my body, which made it possible to individualize my treatment to the greatest extent possible. We still had many months of cycle monitoring, regular hormone testing, and medication ahead of us. For the first time, we felt that our doctor was not working in the dark. Throughout this time, we remained in regular contact with both our FertilityCare Practitioner and our physician. Thanks to this close cooperation, 12 months after beginning treatment, we finally saw the two lines we had been dreaming of on a pregnancy test. After three long years of trying, determination mixed with moments of discouragement, and a sea of tears shed in sadness, we both finally cried tears of joy.
Today, our son is six years old. He is a healthy boy and has a younger sister.
Kasia and Kamil
For almost three years, I struggled with secondary amenorrhea. No doctor was able to determine exactly what was causing it, so I went from one doctor to another without receiving any real answers—apart from being told that “it sometimes happens” and that I needed hormone replacement therapy. My hormone test results were consistently critically low, as if my body were not producing hormones at all and had entered a state of hibernation from which it simply did not want to wake up.
I learned about the Creighton Model through one of the webinars. I began charting in July 2020, and after my very first meeting and first month of observations, I was amazed and impressed by how precisely the Creighton Model made it possible to understand my cycle, myself, and what was happening in my body—and why. My FertilityCare Practitioner also suggested a series of tests to be performed on specific days of my cycle and for specific purposes, explaining what each test was for and why it was needed. This was completely different from my previous experiences with doctors, who would simply take averages based on a “typical” cycle and tell me to have the tests done at approximately the right time. For the first time in my life, someone explained to me what the results actually meant and what could be done about them.
The first few cycles of charting allowed us to draw some initial conclusions: for some reason, my body really was unable to “wake up” and initiate normal hormonal function on its own, which meant that pharmacological support was necessary. For the first time, someone explained to me why treatment was needed, what its purpose was, and which medications I would be taking. With this understanding, I was finally convinced that the treatment made sense—that it was not simply a routine medical approach and that I had not been sent home with a prescription without anyone really considering my individual situation. Thanks to my FertilityCare Practitioner, I was referred to a wonderful physician, and together we worked on stimulating my hormonal system. The results came surprisingly quickly: after six months of charting, followed by another two months and two appointments with a NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician, I began cycle stimulation and became pregnant.
I am now 21 weeks pregnant. The pregnancy is progressing normally, I feel wonderful, and a huge weight has been lifted from my heart. I still find it hard to believe that the right approach to an individual case can truly work wonders. After years of going from one doctor to another, my search for answers finally came to an end just a few months after I began charting and treatment according to NaProTECHNOLOGY®.
Joanna and Marcin – Hello to Everyone Reading This Testimonial
My husband and I have been married for seven years. We began trying to conceive after our second year of marriage. When we started this journey, we had no idea how much time and effort it would take before we could welcome our miracle into the world—our daughter.
After a year of trying without success, we sought help from a physician specializing in infertility. We went through a series of tests, changed doctors three times in total, monitored ovulation, took medications—both my husband and I—and underwent various procedures. Nothing seemed to work… until a new approach to fertility awareness through the Creighton Model gave us hope. As so often happens in life, God guided us through other people who had used the Creighton Model to chart their cycles and had gone on to conceive.
We found a FertilityCare Practitioner who patiently introduced us to the principles of charting and explained anything we were unsure about. After six months of using the Creighton Model, we consulted a NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician. It was a particularly significant moment for us because the appointment coincided with a conversation with the gynecologist who had been treating me. He told us that there was nothing more he could do for us and referred us to a clinic for IVF.
Our first appointment with the NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician lasted more than three hours. The physician carefully analyzed my cycle chart, performed a thorough examination, and took a detailed medical history. Based on the information from the chart, the physician prescribed appropriate medication and scheduled another appointment for cycle monitoring. The second appointment proved to be crucial. All the cycle monitoring we had undergone with our previous doctors had shown that my dominant follicle was growing larger than it should and rupturing later than expected. As a result, it had been virtually impossible to determine when conception might occur. The day of our appointment turned out to be a fertile day, so the physician suggested an injection intended to help the follicle rupture. It turned out to be exactly what was needed. That is why our third appointment brought confirmation of the pregnancy we had longed for and waited so long to see!
Charting with the Creighton Model led us to our goal. Combined with the guidance of our FertilityCare Practitioner and the experience of our NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician, it helped make our dream come true. To everyone reading this, we want to offer hope that it can happen for you, too!
Karina and Tomasz – Our Testimonial: The Story of How We Had to Patiently Wait for Our Son
We got married in 2017. Neither of us had any major health problems or diagnosed medical conditions, so at the time, neither of us imagined that trying to conceive could be a problem for us. After a year of trying to have a child, we began looking for the reason why we were not succeeding. We changed gynecologists and started looking for a solution. After undergoing some tests, my husband changed his diet and lifestyle, which proved to be a very important step in our story. However, we still had no diagnosis explaining what was preventing us from conceiving. Instead, I was immediately referred to a hospital for a procedure that, according to the physician, was supposed to help determine what the problem was.
At that time, our hearts were filled with doubts and questions—for other people and for God. Why was this happening to us? We felt helpless, especially because there was no clear explanation for our difficulties—no diagnosed disease or obvious abnormality. Fortunately, during that time we became involved with a ministry for married couples trying to conceive. It was there that we learned more about the Creighton Model and NaProTECHNOLOGY®.
Our meetings with the Creighton Model Practitioner were extremely helpful and filled with understanding and empathy. Each time, we discovered new information or found answers to questions and doubts that arose—not only about the menstrual cycle, but also about things such as diet and our physical and emotional well-being. At the same time, we scheduled an appointment with a NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician. We were greatly impressed by the physician’s approach, the amount of time devoted to us, and the thorough medical history taken during our very first appointment. Throughout the diagnostic and treatment process, we maintained excellent contact with both our Practitioner and our physician, and their support was an important part of finding a solution to our difficulties.
What impressed us most about NaProTECHNOLOGY® was the thorough assessment of both wife and husband and the step-by-step search for the underlying cause of our situation. Unlike the earlier recommendation to undergo laparoscopy without any clear indication, our physician, after a series of tests and careful cycle observations, recommended hysteroscopy. At the same time, he continued to monitor and care for my husband as well. Our Practitioner accompanied us throughout the entire treatment process and provided invaluable support.
We began working with our Practitioner in April 2020. We had our first appointment with the NaProTECHNOLOGY® physician in June 2020, and in November I underwent a hysteroscopy. In February 2021, we discovered that I was pregnant! Our joy and surprise were overwhelming. The procedure we had undergone may have played an important role, but so did all the other health recommendations we received. Rest and relaxation, as well as our physical and emotional well-being, also proved to be important. All these factors together contributed to the outcome we had hoped and prayed for. Throughout the pregnancy, we remained in contact with both our Practitioner and our physician, and we felt their tremendous support.
Today, we are the happy parents of Konrad. We believe that this was the path we were meant to take—a path on which we met wonderful people and one that ultimately strengthened our marriage. We encourage everyone to consider NaProTECHNOLOGY® and to seek the support of physicians and Creighton Model Practitioners. We can say with complete confidence that, thanks to them, today we are able to enjoy the presence of our son.
