CREIGHTON MODEL
Perimenopause
Perimenopause is a time when the menstrual cycle often loses its regularity and predictability. Changes may occur in menstrual flow intensity, overall cycle length, as well as in the pre-ovulatory and post-ovulatory phases.Variable returns of cervical mucus can make it more difficult to identify times of fertility and infertility.
This stage of life can bring uncertainty and concern—“What is happening to my body?” The use of the Creighton Model FertilityCare™ System provides valuable support during this time. By systematically charting observations, a detailed cycle record is created. This chart clearly reflects the nature of hormonal changes, helps medical consultanat to support them, and enables to identify true phases of infertility.
